Privacy Policy

Marilyn's is an invitation-only members club operated by Novantuno Groupe(“we”, “us”) in Montréal, Québec, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the Marilyn's app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We comply with Québec's Law 25 and Canada's PIPEDA.

Information we collect

Account data: your full name, email address and, optionally, your phone number. We collect this when you accept an invitation or sign in.
Reservation data: dates, times, party size and any notes you provide when you book a seat.
Authentication data: short-lived magic-link tokens and session cookies used to keep you signed in.
Technical data: minimal server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) used for security and abuse prevention.

We do not collect location, contacts, photos, biometric data, payment cards, or any advertising identifiers. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

How we use your information

To verify your identity and grant access to the members area.
To manage your reservations and send related confirmations and reminders by email (and SMS only if you opt in).
To issue your Apple Wallet membership pass at your request.
To communicate important changes about the club or this app.
To prevent abuse and secure the service.

Service providers

We share the minimum necessary information with the following processors:

Netlify — application hosting.
Neon — encrypted Postgres database.
Resend — transactional email delivery.
Apple Inc. — when you add your membership pass to Apple Wallet.

We never sell or rent your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.

Retention

Account data is retained for as long as you remain a member. If your membership ends, we delete your profile within 90 days, except where we are required to keep limited records (e.g. for tax or legal obligations).

Your rights

Under Québec Law 25 and PIPEDA you have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@maremtl.ca. We respond within 30 days.

Children

Marilyn's is a licensed bar venue and is intended for adults of legal drinking age (18+ in Québec). The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the app.
